What is Central Voice?

Central Voice is a collection of visually engaging, interactive digital assessment activities thoughtfully developed by Educational Psychologists to enable professionals to capture the voice of children and young people in relation to their lives. Central Voice activities can be used for in-person and/or remote work with children.

  • Wish to capture the voices of children and young people to inform decisions around their needs, such as:

    • Education, Health and Care needs assessments

Central Voice is a newly developed resource which offers a selection of interactive activities that can be used within scope of practice to capture the voices of children and young people.

Activities are grouped into four categories: About Me, Learning at School, My Social World, and Me and My Feelings.

Activities are accessed and administered from the Central Voice portal which contains 8 activities in the form of:

  • 2 free activities: My Amazing Strengths and School Tasks: Easy or Hard (unlimited use),

    and

  • A Starter pack of 6 additional activities: Finish the Sentence (About Me), Me and My Friendships (My Social World), What Feeds my Volcano (Me and My Feelings), What Helps Me Learn (Learning at School), How I Feel at School (Me and My Feelings), and When I’m with other People (My Social World).
